Zeus Private Equity strengthens Southern team

Zeus Private Equity (ZPE), which closed its maiden fund in December 2007 at more than £100 million, has made a new appointment to its Southern team.

With over eight years’ experience in private equity, working in deal generation, portfolio monitoring and exit realisation, Jonny Allatt joins from NVM Private Equity in Bristol. In 2005, during his time at NVM, Allatt was named South West Venture Capitalist of the Year. At ZPE, he will assume the role of Investment Director.

Commenting on his appointment, Allatt said: "The final close of the fund and the deals recently completed make it an exciting time to be joining ZPE. I believe the firm’s focus on equity cheques of £5m to £10m services an important market segment and am looking forward to a busy time generating and managing further deals in the regions."
